Cursed

I am cursed

To live a life without love.

But to want to show it at all times.

I fall love in with beauty that I know I can never have.

There is no counterpart to me.

Who would dare to weather my brain?

To try and understand me beyond the first experience.

I can write lyrics, but not sing.

I can rhyme but often I do not feel like a poet.

I write books but no-one reads them.

There is a curse on me,

I am sure of it.

I see everyone fall in love around me, but I lie alone wondering who put this curse on me?

I accept my curse.

Throw what you must at me,

For I am prepared.

I am cursed.

But now I am aware.
